Become a Member
Individuals and organizations that want to support and participate in Wellspring’s work are invited to fill out a membership form. Those located in Western Massachusetts join as voting members, while members from outside the region are welcome to participate but cannot vote. This ensures that control over Wellspring remains local.
Member Rights:
- Members have a voice on the direction of Wellspring’s work through participation in committees and other Wellspring initiatives
- Members can bring proposals for consideration to the General Assembly.
- Local members can vote and run for the Board
Member Responsibilities
- Sign a membership agreement that indicates support of Wellspring’s vision and goals
- Designate a representative and an alternative representative (for organizations only)
- Attend the annual membership meeting and other membership meetings as appropriate
- Read and respond to correspondence Pay sliding scale membership dues. Dues support the work of the organization, and members are asked to contribute as they are able.
