We provide a range of service or technical assistance (TA) to support co-ops in the dreaming, start up, stabilization or growth phase. We also can help conventional businesses decide whether a transition to worker ownership model is a good fit and if so, how to proceed.
Building A Just And Sustainable Economy
The solidarity economy (SE) is a global movement to build an economy and world that centers the welfare of people and planet. It is grounded in real world practices that align with values of solidarity, democracy, equity, sustainability and pluralism. There are examples of SE all around us — old, new, mainstream, alternative — such as co-ops, community land trusts, participatory budgeting, community gardens, mutual aid and so forth. Wellspring helps to build co-op business as well as cooperative practices that create thriving communities in the greater Springfield area.
