1. Members are an essential part of our organization.
Voting members cast ballots in our Board elections and other decisions requiring a membership vote. All members – voting and non-voting – can serve on committees and bring proposals to the General Assembly.
2. It’s not about the dues.
Dues are a statement of your investment in our work. While they do support our operations, this drive is not about generating dues. It’s about inviting our supporters to have a voice in our work.
3. Dues are on a sliding scale.
While you’ll see $25-$100 suggested, no dues contribution is too small. Your annual donation can also also serve as your dues.
4. You can be a voting or non-voting member.
If you live in Hampden, Hampshire or Franklin County, the choice is yours. If you live elsewhere, you can be a non-voting member. Both are important!
5. Our Annual General Assembly is Dec. 5.
Growing our membership now will allow us to send electronic ballots to new members in advance of the meeting. It’s important to us that our membership reflects wide community support!
