Wellspring is thrilled to welcome The Old Window Workshop (OWW) as the newest member of the Wellspring Cooperative network.
Old Window Workshop is a women-owned window restoration cooperative. There is a huge supply of old, leaky and damaged windows that can be restored and complemented with an insulation panel (which OWW can provide) as a less expensive and more environmentally friendly alternative to window replacement.
Old windows most often end up in landfills or are incinerated at great cost to our earth and air. Building materials from historic structures are part of our nation’s original natural resources including old growth lumber.
Old Window Workshop and Wellspring Upholstery Co-op are both part of Wellspring's growing sector of businesses that support sustainability and the vitality of the local economy through re-use and restoration.
